Every Christian has a place of service in the Kingdom of God, and the church is strengthened when each member does his or her part. At Gary Christian Center, we provide the tools, biblical training, leadership training and create an atmosphere that encourages spiritual maturity.
 
BETTER HOMES & MARRIAGES (Marriage Ministry)
This ministry is dedicated to building strong marriages and families. Our purpose is to assist couples in every stage of relational development to create a marriage that God honors, and thrives on commitment, intimacy and growth. When couples forge ahead with God, they become a light of hope to others.                             
              
S.A.L.T. - (Single Adults Living Truth) Ministry
Our Singles Ministry is designed to enable single adults to live out God's purpose for their lives and to make wise choices based on biblical principles that will enrich the quality of their lives and their relationship with God and others.
 
BOYZ TO MEN CONNECTION (Men’s Ministry)
These are times where men can build strong relationships together. We believe that wholesome fellowships among brethren is essential to the life of the local church. Jeremiah 5:1 says, “run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.”

WOMEN ON PURPOSE (Women’s Ministry)
We believe that Godly women are vital to the advancement of the Kingdom of God.  Our women are being taught how to live a life of purpose and fulfillment, not only in our personal lives but for the Kingdom of God. The women of GCC meet bi-monthly to absorb the Word of God and to build Godly relationships.

CHOSEN 1ST (Young Adult Ministry)
The purpose of the Chosen First Young Adult Ministry is to implement fellowship amongst the age group 19-25. Our ministry follows the vision of Gary Christian Center (Touching a Generation by Touching the Heart of God and the Heart of People) by teaching others how to live a purpose driven life and creating a Godly image for young men and women to model.

T.O.P.S. (Teens Operating Positive Standards) - (Youth Ministry) Ages 13-19
The youth of GCC meet every week to embrace Godly principles for their lives. We believe that our youth are essential in God’s economy in touching our generation. We use this time to equip our young people with the relevance of the Word of God.
 
“SON”SHINE Kids (Children’s Ministry)
(Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
The purpose of our children’s church is to teach them the wonderful works of God, the beauty of praise and worship unto the Lord, by leading them into a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord. Our children are an extension of the vision given by God to Pastors Charles & Sandra Jones.

This ministry is designed to minister and to meet the needs of our young boys and girls between the ages 0-12. We have found that Children are more apt to learning spiritual truth when it is presented to them on their age levels.

MINISTERS IN TRAINING Program (M.I.T.)
Pastor Jones, provides training to believers who sense they are called to the five fold ministry and or service to the Lord in a leadership role. These trainees must be a member of Gary Christian Center. There are 6 major classes: 5 Ministry Gifts and 1 Ministry Leadership Class. Then the student is required to complete a "work of the ministry" internship. Generally there are between 60-100 internship hours that must be completed within a designated time frame. Each M.I.T. will get enough exposure to have a working knowledge of how the ministry domains here at GCC function. The M.I.T. will then be able to make deposits in every domain.

TEMPLE BUILDING (Health & Fitness Ministry)
The purpose for this ministry is to provide the highest quality and most innovative workouts possible while taking every precaution to insure participant safety. Our fitness classes are designed to challenge each individual's exercise needs, regardless of age or fitness level, while making it fun!
