Pastor Charles Jones
Pastor Charles Jones is the Senior Pastor of Gary Christian Center, a dynamic, vibrant and progressive ministry. As one touched by the Grace of God, he has committed his life to God's calling and the Gospel ministry by touching the heart of God and the heart of His people.

Pastor Jones is a native of Gary, Indiana. During his studies at Vincennes University, he felt a longing for God in his life. It was then that he came into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In 1979, he received his calling into the ministry when the Lord impressed upon his heart, St. John 15:16, " You have not chosen me but I have chosen thee, and ordained thee that you should go and bring forth fruit." Pastor Jones was ordained and served as assistant pastor to Pastor Carlton Arthurs of Wheaton Christian Center. Later in 1992 he became Senior Pastor of Gary Christian Center {formerly known as the Wheaton Christian Center---Gary Branch}.

Pastor Jones preaches and teaches the Word of God with relevance, simplicity and a strong conviction that transcends barriers, bringing healing and restoration to the captives.

Serving at the side of Pastor Jones is his childhood sweetheart and loving wife, Sandra Jones. They lovingly enjoy their union together and are blessed with three beautiful children: Dymeata, {Brandon Burum}, Paula, and Charles Jr.
